No, they no longer make the DVC sliders. One year with our Magic Bands we received an accessory that said "DVC Member" we could add to our magic bands. We have booked other trips since then but we have not received it any other time. Can you still get the accessory and if so how?
Yes, both reservations would be eligible to receive MagicBands. To piggyback off this question - if you have a split stay, do you get two sets of magic bands? How would that then work with tickets - can you link a 5 day ticket to two different reservations?

Decline one set if you don’t want two for one trip. That’s what I did. Every Magic Band you have that is “active” will have your tickets on it. The only way to make them “inactive” is if you go in and mark them as such.
How does this affect room access for split stays? Just curious as we haven't done split stays since magic bands started being used to open resort room doors and such.

We accepted the 2nd magic band on our last split stay, just as a back-up. Which I almost needed.
But if you do lose a band, you can just go to the front desk of the resort and ask for a replacement.
I saved the sliders and happy that I did because evidentially that are not distributing them anymore. One year with our Magic Bands we received an accessory that said "DVC Member" we could add to our magic bands.
