Magic Bands Upgrade

For Canadians, if we are able to order them successfully, will they still arrive at our resort for check-in (as they don’t ship to Canada) even if it is 4-5 months away?
 
If your trip wasn't for 150 days would you just wait in case they come out new bands or jump on one you like now ??

Also u think this will continue for another 5 or 6 months or is this just a promo thing ??

I wouldn't get one just if there is one you kinda like. But it there is one you really would like to have I would just get it while you can - who knows what will happen in the future
 
Not sure if this has been mentioned. But the voucher I got sent to use at shop disney said it can't be used for limited edition bands. But I ordered a LE band and it accepted it. It cost me $15 instead of $10 though. But if someone wants the $15 discount you CAN use it on the LE bands not just regular ones.

How did you get a voucher? Personally would like to get one because I specifically would want Moana or Frozen as a band for my 2 year old.
 

Also does anyone know can you choose to split your order? Meaning pick the special ones for 2 people now and then special ones for 2 other people later? Or is it a one time choice?
 
If I have four in my family who want upgraded bands, so I have to wait until all four that I want are in stock at the same time, or can I buy just mine if I see it now, then my DW's in a few days when the one she wants pops up, my DS's next week, etc.?

I think it is a one time choice as you have to "complete" your order. You can select some but not "complete" it but then if they run out of one you selected you are out of luck
 
I chatted with someone online and you have to order all the magic bands for everyone in your group all at the same time. So if anyone wants a premium band, you have to make sure everyone has their own premium or regular band picked out for the order and then they are all shipped together. It’s a major pain in the butt cause everyone has to pick whatever is available at the same time.

Vouchers or gift codes went out to those who had ordered a premium in the first round and got a solid colored band instead without warning.
 
Well now the system is erroring out we have every premium magic band we would want in stock right now but it is forcing me to click complete order even after selecting just the first persons option. That in turn just errors it out and says to call or try again later.

Try using an incognito window in Chrome or a different browser just for luck!
 
So excited that I got our upgraded magic bands today. Just DS and I wanted them and got two Toy Story ones, DH just wanted a plain blue one. Order completed and email received. Yay! Now, fingers crossed they actually come correct.
 
Okay have some information:

- The system when out of stock just errors out (it will not state out of stock)
- The system requires you to do a 1 time order
- There is a slight randomness right now as certain bands leave and others come back in stock (Toy Story left and Genie/Frozen popped up when I was refreshing)

System is completely down right now and seeing a 7dwarves screen.
 
I gave up and ordered 4 gray bands and 4 skins from Amazon for $6.99 each. It's so aggravating! last week I chose the Star Wars for me and the Disney Park for my wife but nothing was available or the kids so I didn't want to complete the order and select them 2 plain ones. Tonight there are some for the kids but nothing for me and my wife that we want. It wont let me split the order so I gave up.
 
I am kind of astounded that they took the car crash that was the first rollout and actually made it worse.

How can a company that is so technologically savvy have such a problem in this case? On Chrome, I am unable to get to the MB page at all, said it is temporarily down. But, when I go through Safari, I can get to Magic Bands, but every time I try to complete my order, it gives me an error message.

On top of that, I don't even see the option to decline a Magic Band anymore.

That looks like the only option as WDW won't ship to Canada. Will be good to hear the experiences of Canadian guests on this one.
