Hi everyone just a couple of questions about magic bands and fast pass +?
1/ Only stopping one night at a Disney hotel so will we still have a magic band?
2/ have booked though hotels.com so will I still be able to use my ref number to book fast pass + and magic bands in advance?
any advice would be appreciated as am feeling very confused about this new system. thanks x

1) Yes, you will still get a MagicBand even with just a 1-night stay
2) You may or may not be able to use the reservation number to link to MDE (just try it using your hotels.com reference) but you will also need to link your tickets to be able to book FP+. You have to have an onsite stay and valid tickets linked to be able to book FP+.

Hi, sorry to hijack.... If staying for one night will you be able to book FP+ for the two days either side if the night you stay? Thanks :) x

Currently, if you stay one night on property, as long as your tickets extend past that one night you will be able to book up to 7 days worth of FP+.

I am not sure if Disney will close down this 'loophole' eventually but that is the way it is now.

If you stayed onsite for 1 night and only had a 2-day ticket, you would be able to book FP+ for both days (check-in and check-out day). You cannot book any FP+ prior to the day you check in.

Hi, OP I don't know if I should apologise or thank you for starting the thread but I am going to tag on a vaguely related question too

Our friends from New Jersey are going to be staying at the same resort as us. They have 3 nights/4 days but have bought 3 day tickets. Will they be able to use evening EMH on their check out day if EMH begins at, say 11 pm? Does the midnight on day of check out still apply to these or does it work on a calendar day principle?

I have never really had to think of using tickets in this way

yes, you can use EMH and your dining credits and all of your resort perks on your check-out day. Consider it this way... they wouldn't make you start a new day on your park ticket at midnight.

That's great, thank you so much. I hadn't given it a thought until she asked and wasn't sure if anything had changed (since so much has, lately :rotfl:)

ETA: I've just seen your ticker! You must be bouncing with excitement!
