Magic bands never used?

i have a set of 3 magic bands we never used or activated.(from cancelled trip due to hurricane Matthew). Can I still use them for our upcoming trip in Feb. We are planning on buying tickets from Disney site and staying offsite. Hope this makes sense.

As long as they are linked to MDE, yes you can use them.

Yes. Your MBs have been active from the time they were sent to you. They can be used for future trips.

Any magic band you have linked to your MDE account is automatically linked to the tickets you have linked in your MDE account. So if you were sent magic bands for an on site trip, they were already "activated" as their connected to your MDE

A difference would be purchasing individual MBs online or buying one in the park and then having to link it to your account

We're the bands sent as part of an on site stay, or did you buy the bands and never use them?

If they were sent from an on site stay then they're already connected to an individual MDE and can't be assigned to a different person.

You can Edit the name and change it to your brother's name; link his ticket there and he can use that MB.
