Magic Bands before staying onsite?

Was going to set up an account at DIBBs but this community is just as good.

I'm going to be in florida two weeks in April at a rented villa before I spend the last five days at the boardwalk.

- has anyone got there's before their resort stay if so how do I go about doing that?

- the villa manager gave me the address of the welcome centre if I entered that as the shipping address should it be safe. By which I mean would they just get the band and not a whole load of other stuff like PIN numbers and login usbs. Has anyone else done this?

- haven't read any recent news on linking the 14 day UK Tickets other than they advise against doing so.... Anyone had success with this of late?

Now that fp+ is rolled out and magic maker looks like it might be worth it with ride photos now included.

Last I read they do ship other stuff introducing my magic+ as well as the magic bands but no PINs.

However the bands being received early does not affect your ability to pre-book FP+ as that is tied to your resort stay. So you will still need to book on the day FP+ while you are offsite.

Memory Maker can be used by anyone - it is not restricted to Magic Bands as they have special cards similar to the old FP+ card.

Disappointing news! so even if i had the band on my arm and the ticket loaded on it standing in main street. I would not have access to FP+?

I read that somewhere down the line off-site guests would be able to buy a Magic Bands I recon that will be only a few months away given that MK and AK has full saturation of FP+

the FP+ is not tied to Magic Bands.

Onsite guests can prebook their FP+, offsite guests need to book their FP+ on the day. You can still get your 3 FP+ but you won't be able to prebook them until you're inside the park and do it at a FP+ kiosk

Having a regular RFID ticket or a Magic Band is exactly the same. FP+ are not stored on the Magic Band but on your MyDisneyExperience account.

Magic Bands only offer the convienience of wearing your ticket around your wrist rather than carrying a credit card format ticket.
