Magic bands at pool

I think a MB or a room key. Some pools require you to punch in unless you wait for someone to leave.

No you don't have to wear them at the pool. They can get wet though so if you want to wear them in the water you can. We were just at OKW. Only needed them for our room and of course if we wanted to charge anything. We wore them most of the time but not in the pool although we could have.

The wrist band is waterproof. (Its been personally tested)

It makes life easier you just take the wrist band to the pool. If you want a snack you use the wrist band or to open your door to your room.

It can't get any simpler.

Definitely no mandatory but, since they are waterproof, so much easier than dealing with a KTTW card.

As others have said, some pools require you to use your MB/KTTW card to enter the pool area. At those locations you will need to have one of them with you, but you can just carry the band if you don't want to wear it.

Wearing a wristband and getting it scanned is the only way to gain entrance into Stormalong Bay.

I don't mind mb, but dd9 hated hers last trip . Additionally dd2 was really too big. You see no issues with picking the cards in the water proof case . For dd, and probably wearing bands for grown ups right? I think last trip they stated dd2 didn't even need hers, but I can't see bands being mandatory if dd9 still thinks it's uncomfortable right?

Also what about hopping. If you are staying on points, you are allowed, do your cards/bands work at other resorts? (Specifically we might stop by the poly it Blt next trip ).

After three trips to the front desk during our stay a few weeks ago, we finally wised up and the kids did not wear their bands in the pool. When a band is found in the pool the lifeguards send it to the front desk and you have to go verify it to get it back. My 14 yo's & 9 yo's bands were tight(I put them on myself) but after so many trips down the slide and wrestling with each other I guess they figured out a way to wriggle out of them, lol. We had no problems losing them anywhere else.

disynut, I highly recommend coverbands to keep those MBs on. If you put them on thoroughly, they cover up the connection, so if it comes unclipped from itself it's still encased by material. I'm sure it could still, eventually, slip off, but you have more time to notice it being really loose.

Good advice except when it comes to going in the pools.. IMHO. I wore mine with the fabric cover and sure enough it got stretched out in the water and never fit right again the rest of the trip. Did you wear the cover in the pool?

Do you have to wear magic bands at the pools?

key words (at the pool) YES in case they check if your staying at the resort and to enter if required by gates.

in the pool ( NO) but you should have the MB with you in your bag or at your table.:goodvibes
