Magic Bands and Staying Off Site?

Hello,

We are booked at a Disney Springs good neighbor hotel. We only have one day of park tickets right now - they are linked in MDE and we made our reservation for MK. We have the hard plastic tickets. We have never stayed off property before and I am not sure if we will get Magic Bands sent to us for this trip. MDE doesn't look the way it usually does in our past trips and I don't see a way to order them. Will we get them? Do we need them? Thanks!

You only get complementary magic bands if on site. Offsite you can use a plastic card OR any old MBs you have as park admission media.

1. You won't.
2. You can (pay to) order new MBs, if you like.
3. Only if you pay to order them.
4. Always a debatable question.
That said, if you WANT to use MBs for this trip, if you have any MBs from previous WDW trips, those MBs will still work with your current tickets on your upcoming trip
(if you put your tickets into your MDX account(s.))
