Magic Bands and Free Parking

Question for all of you great folks. We fly in to start our vacation at Disney World this coming Friday. We are staying offsite, but have a campsite booked on Monday. I will do the online check in so we get our free parking at the parks. The question I have is, who's magic band gets the free parking assigned to it, or does it allow anyone on the reservation's magic band to work? Also how many vehicles will get the free parking? We are 2 family's of 4.

Our trip cannot get here fast enough. We haven't been to Disney World since 2002.

Thanks for that info. I was inquiring about the free parking at the parks, not at the resorts as we will be using a rental car and not staying on property.

You won't get free parking until Monday when you're on site. So prior to that day you'll have to pay for parking, unless you guys have at least 1 AP holder in each car.

Once you're on site on Monday, everyone's band will read that info and everyone on property can park for free

I knew we wouldn't get the free parking until Monday, just wasn't sure how many cars it covered and who's magic band it would get linked to. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

It'll be the same as having an AP. All you need is one person in the vehicle to have a valid band that's staying on-site. It's not determined by the amount of cars but by the guest(s). So if you're all on site then you'll be fine. If say only four of you are on site out of 8 people, then just have 1 on site person in the car with the off site guests
