Magic Bands and FP+ open for December check ins

Hello!
I just talked to Disney and they said the beginning November 1, All Disney resorts will be offering Magic Bands. You have to select magic bands and cards in the My Disney Experience.

Thank you I wasn't sure how MB worked for us DVCers. If you already have paper tickets, did you link them?

Yes, I have a 6 yr old grandson with a paper ticket from Undercover tourist, and, I was able to link it.
MS told me today, that when I can do FP selections, I should do them for me, and at check in, they will link my fast passes to everyone with me. I do not need to order fast passes for each person!

I wouldn't do this!!! Fast pass is still limited quantities per time slot and they DO "sell out"... It takes 2 seconds to add all members of your party when selecting FP+. Why chance it?

I got it for the 18th. Do you have resort reservations linked that include the 8th?

I checked last night Fantasmic! only went up to Dec.7 as a reservation, I'll try again tonight . I'm looking for Dec9

Has anyone gotten a FP+ for a Dec Wishes or MSEP? I read in another post they were released thru Dec7 but they have not on my available FP+ list for that week. I don't know if this means I just missed out or if they are not released. I looked the very day FP+ opened for us and everyday since. LOL multiple times a day actually. If I've just missed out I need to nip this addition in the bud! Thanks!

Ok so now I got it! The reason I couldn't get a FP+ for Fantasmic! was because i had it as a reminder for that date, once I deleted the reminder it sowed up as a FP* possibility. Boy that's a little quirky
