Magic Bands and CR Check In

Not sure if anyone is able to answer this but we received our bands and our tickets are linked. We are planning on going to the parks before the hotel. We will be staying at the Dolphin the night before. My plan was to get up early, leave my group to get ready, take the bands to CR and check in.

Does anyone think that my husband will need to be there to set his code for charging or is it one code per family? Or can I set it for him? I believe I read somewhere that a code is necessary for purchasing items with the bands. I don't want to drag them all there if I don't have to.

We set up our individual pins when I checked in online. Possibly you could do online check in and then go to CR with all the bands and get officially "checked in"? But, I'm not 100% sure - I don't think anyone will be until there is more experiences.

We set up our PINS online and used the same one for both myself and husband.

Thanks! I wasn't planning on doing the online check in, but I guess it may be another first for us.

We do online check in as early as possible after being told that they assign a room to your reservation as soon as you do. We have found our room location to be excellent every time!
