Magic Band with two concurrent room reservations

Just wondered if anyone had come across the situation where they were listed on 2 room reservations for the same nights (as I will be for an upcoming trip) and were using a MB. Previously with 2 seperate room keys it wouldn't be an issue, but I'm not sure if/how it's going to work now.

That is going to cause an issue. Is there some reason you need to be listed on both?

Yes, in hindsight I should have kept one reservation separate and not linked to my MDE account. Is there any way to disassociate?

We just had this situation...my mom added her name to my friends reservation so we could check into their studio; we had the adjoining 2 bedroom. We didn't add her name until the day of checkin though, so she already had her magic band, and her band did not work for the new room.
