Magic band vs Magic band+

Does anyone know or have any idea what the difference is going to be between magic band and magic band +
I have so many magic bands from previous trips and figured I would use them but don't know if I will be missing out on anything?
PS: we don't go until October 2023

yes, you’ll miss out on 'games' in the park. They will interact with the 50th statues, and there will be some treasure hunt type games. They’ll also light up and vibrate sometimes, like fireworks and parades, maybe some shows.

the magic bands will be out before your trip, so you’ll be able to watch videos on what they do extra before you go.

We are going in December, and are excited to use the new magic band+ features.

In addition to the games, if you remember the ears and other light up things like wands and such that could sync to fireworks and shows (I know F! was one)? What was it call, Made with Magic, something Magic at any rate? It's been several years since they retired the merchandise. They even had a Mickey hand pointer that you could use to control the sync on them in some way. Anyway, I'm sort of picturing their doing some of that type of stuff.
