Magic Band Ticket ? - purchased on separate account

I currently have on my MDE account, three Magic Bands for me and some friends for our trip during the PHM in Feb. I have an annual pass which I will link to my magic band, but my question is: if my friend buys a one day ticket on the Disney site, will I be able to link her ticket to her Magic band that is on my account even though I won't be purchasing it with my account?

Yes, I booked the room so all three Magic Bands are on my account.

I should also mention that this booking is a room only booking not a package with tickets because only 2 of us are doing parks.

Is she registered on MDE too? If so, she should just link the ticket on her MDE account and it will show up under her name in your MDE. My daughter purchased her own AP whcich she linked on her MDE but I was sitll able to make FP+ reservations and customsie a Magicband for her on my MDE account.

I believe that if you manage her Magic Band, you can add her one-day ticket, as long as you enter the number on the back of the ticket.

Thank you everyone for the responses! I think I am just going to buy her ticket on my account so it will link there. I will just make her FastPass+ selections for her to make it easier.
