magic band + question

hi! we check in on the 23rd and we're so excited! on the my disney experience, it says we have 7 days for the magic bands. i scrolled down it says 10-6 days before the bands will be shipped to your hotel.
does that mean i only have until tomorrow to order our magic bands if we wanted new ones? and they'll def be waiting for us at the hotel? bc we leave for florida the 17th and won't be home if they get mailed to our house, and we won't be in disney until the 23.
just wanted to confirm that if we make selections like tonight or tomorrow, they will be at our hotel and not mailed to us?

Currently sailing on the Fantasy and the bands are WAY over rated. The staff seems to know there are present, but asks for your card. At the port it seemed way easier to use the QR code vs the bands. They maybe light up during a show, but so far nothing I’ve seen. I stopped wearing it as I don’t want a odd tan line on my wrist. It feels like a weird way of getting an extra few bucks from people with little payoff.

if I were to do it again, I’d buy bands for the kids and not myself or wife.

I think it's a different situation all together when using a MB+ on the ships vs. parks. Personally, I never go to the parks without a MB. And I guess now that I've already purchased a couple of the MB+, I'll use them on the next cruise. If I didn't already own some, I'd likely opt for just using the KTTW card they issue onboard.
