Magic Band Question

We're first-time AP holders. We first redeemed them during our Easter trip and just got around to choosing our AP MBs.

We have a trip scheduled for Halloween, as well as our annual Christmas. Upon selecting our AP MBs, we were also able to select our Halloween bands (staying on-site at Poly.)

My question is: which do we use for Halloween? Should we bring both? Will our Poly reservation be on our AP band? We still have the AP card so we can theoretically enter the parks with that—I'm just curious.

Any Magic Band linked and marked active in MDE will work with any linked ticket media in MDE.

1. If you like. (I would.)

2. Nothing (no resort info, no charging info, no ticket info) is "on" any MagicBand.
The only thing "on" the MB is an electronic code that will ACESS all of your information and tickets stored in your MyDisneyExperience files.
The MB works like a key to a lock or a password to an account.

3. All of your MagicBands will work at all times.

I used this analogy to explain MDE and Magic bands:

You have a bank account and you can look up your account information via your PC, laptop and mobile devices. You can also access your account through an ATM and your credit/debit card also access your account.

None of your banking information is actually housed on an of these devices and cards. You are just using them to access the information that is housed on your bank's server.

The bank does not care how many devices and cards you use to access your account (substitute Magic Bands for devices)

If you lose your phone, have no fear, your bank balance is not actually on your phone and as long as you remembered to log out of your account, the phone no longer gives access to your account (think - deactivate MB)
