Magic Band Question

So as a Disney fanatic, I wanted to add some magic to our next trip coming up in less than 2 weeks and both my bf, best friend, and her bf special magic bands (with characters on them). Well come to find out they are less than thrilled about them. It breaks my heart.

I understand the packaging says "no refunds, exchanges or returns" but I was wondering if anyone happened to be able to return theirs at all? I ordered them on the Disney Store....

If the MBs have already been LINKED to the guest(s,) it will be far less likely to be able to get a refund.

Why are they "less than thrilled with them?" Because they don't want to wear them? Because of the characters? Because you thought they were fantastic and they didn't?

They don't need to wear the bands. I have never worn mine and I never will. I just tuck it into my bag and get it out when I need it, then replace when I don't need it. No need to return them, just have your friends not wear them.

I guess it's worth a shot. They aren't linked. I literally got them yesterday

They think I shouldn't have spent the money when I had been planning this all along. Just disappointed they weren't as excited as me.

Well, you are excited with your gifts to them! Just have them keep them and if they wear them, fine - if not, they can take them back with them and have them to remember the trip by. Maybe suggest that you get one funny photo of all of you (ask a Cast Member to do it or a passing guest) with the MagicBands and those who wear them, can "lord it" over those who don't. And then get another photo of those who don't wear them "lording it" over those who do. You can have fun with the situation.
