Magic band question

sorry if this is answered somewhere, I have searched...our magic bands arrived, best mail ever btw, but a friend of mine got me a Minnie magic band as a gift when they visited earlier this year. How can I change my band to that one? There's no instructions anywhere. Will they do this at the resort? Anyone else done this? 23 days!!!!!

You have to buy those at the park (some are available online but not sure if Minnie is) and then link it to you MDE account. There are instructions on the box and the CMs who sale it to you can help. You just go to the app or website and put in the number on the back of the band to link it yourself.

There is a number on the back of the MB. You can enter that in MDE to register it to you. Then it will access all your information and you can use it or your other one interchangeably.

If it was not set up In store when you bought it you need to sign into the Disney website

Click on "My Magic Bands and cards" under the MDE section

At the bottom is a section that says:
Don't See a Purchased MagicBand?If you purchase a MagicBand and don't do in-store set-up, you'll need to link the MagicBand ID Number to your account.

Click on where it says "Link" and follow the instructions.

You can use both. Once you have the gift one linked to your account, you can use them interchangeably.

I always take a few with me to switch off and on. And should I ever lose one or it stop working, I have a backup.
