Magic Band Question with Two Rooms

We have multiple rooms in July. We are not going to the parks, so we only need Magic Bands for our resort room and dining reservation at Downtown Disney. We haven't used Magic Bands before...can we set them up so each band opens both rooms?

The band will only open the door to the room that you are listed on as a guest.
