Magic band question park entry before checkin.

We will be arriving in Orlando on Sunday, but don't check into akv until Monday. We received our magic bands in the mail, and made fp selections in advance. Just thought about it and wonder can we use our magic bands to get into a park the day before we check in? Thanks for the help.
