Magic Band on Multiple Hotel Reservations

I am booked at 4 different resorts with 5 different reservations due to split stay and DVC availability. I have the option of getting 5 different Magic bands because of this but want to know if one magic band will work for my entire stay. I am thinking of ordering 5 more so that I can have every color I want but only plan to bring one with me. Will this work?

Yes, you can use the one. I remember when the whole Magic Band thing was new, I had a 3 way split stay and so 3 Magic Bands. But when I went from my first hotel to the second, I forgot and still had my first Magic Band on. "No problem!" the front desk CM said, and she took my Magic Band, did some Mickey Head to Mickey head magic, made the green light spin around while I went "Ooooh!" and she made it work. Then I got thinking skeptically, so for my third stay I tried using the same Magic Band, didn't say or do anything, and it worked fine. So I came home with one used MB and 2 brand new, never used, Magic Bands.

Yes, one MB will work for your entire stay. If you decide to have all 5 shipped, I would recommend going in to MDE and deactivating the 4 you aren't taking with you (you can reactivate them whenever you want). Sometimes, if you have more than 1 MB activated in your account, if can cause problems when trying to open your resort room door.

Yes, they will all work. I bring all colors with me every trip, plus at least one custom/LE band that makes sounds at MK. Never a problem at all. I always match mine to my outfits. And never have a problem getting in my room. 5 bands is nothing. Start talking when you get to 30, 40 bands.

I have a few more but this is the most I can order for one trip.
