Magic Band newbie question

I booked our September Disney vacation a few weeks ago. We are staying on property. When should I be able to pick/order our magic bands? Will a link show up under our reservation when it's time? Thanks!

If you don't already have a My Disney Experience account, open one. Link your resort reservation to it. Shortly after (I'm not sure whether hours or days!) in the Magic Bands & Cards section you'll see a message asking you to customize your MB and telling you what the deadline is to complete that process. The MB themselves will be shipped some time within the 30 days before your reservation starts.

you'll need to create a my disney experience account on the disney world website and link your reservation by using your reservation number.

then you just use the drop down window on the right hand side and click on magic bands and cards.

you can customize your magic bands any time between the time you book and about 30 days prior to your trip.

you can either have them mailed to you and they'll arrive anywhere from 7-21 days prior to your trip or you can have them ready at the resort to get during check in.
