Magic band/ME question

So I'm 24 days out from my arrival but I haven't received my magic bands yet. alAccording to the post office website they haven't even reached the post office yet(assuming this is an error, considering they were sent almost a week ago). Anyway, just out of curiosity what happens if you arrive at the airport without having received your magic bands? Is there some procedure? I do have my ME paperwork in hand and ready, just no magic bands

They can process you with the paperwork. No worries. Foreign guests don't get Magic Bands shipped to them in advance, and they make it on DME just fine.

Thank you for your reply, everything I read said to make sure you have your magic bands available so I was getting a little nervous.

Your Magic Bands should be arriving real soon anyway, so this should all be moot. The USPS is just a mess sometimes

You actually can go with your paperwork straight to the smaller one, we are from Canada and we nevr have th bands upon arrival unless we bring one back.

Ah whenever we didn't have paperwork they told us to go to the big desk. Do you guys get the bar codes? Maybe that is the difference.

You can use the paper if you don't get the bands (but you will!).
My sister flies in from a different airport so I bring her MB with me and email her a copy of the DME confirmation. She said they just scan the barcode on the paper at the check in desk and then again to board the bus.

We get Barcodes via the email confirmation, I print everything the send me I am an organizational loser.

I have a single barcode at the top of my ME confirmation letter. I also at least finally got word that the magic bands are in Illinois.

That is all you need - although I am sure the bands will arrive in time! FWIW if you use the paper you only need that to check in - if you use your bands they want to scan all the bands at the check in desk and then only need to scan one band when you board the bus.

from Canada and got MB at check in. There was a letter with bar code that came with the ME luggage tags. Used it to board the bus.

So have your magic bands arrived yet? Mine were shipped last week and are still waiting on pick up from USPS. It's weird that it is taking longer now as I've never had this problem. Usually by the time I get the alert that they have shipped, I have already received them at home.

So mine came yesterday, it seemed they were stuck in Florida for five days then they went from VA to Chicago (odd choice since I live in NH) then a few more long stops before arriving. Not sure what's going on with usps but the route they took didn't seem too direct.
