Magic Band/Fastpass question

This may have been asked and answered many times, but I do not have the patience to sort through and find the answer.
We just booked our trip today for October 2015. This will be our first trip with the bands, they were testing them last year and our resort was not on the list.

So Fastpass question: In the past we have gotten a fastpass for every member of our family. If one of the little kids did not want to ride a bigger ride then the other kid would use the pass to re ride with someone else.
Is this possible with the bands? Would the other child have to borrow the band or is it allotted a number of passes to the group???

2. Yes.
3. I don't understand the relevance of this to your question.
EACH member of your group can make 3 advance FP+ reservations per day.
It does not matter who actually USES those reservations, as long as that person
is wearing the MagicBand which represents a given FP at that time.
