Magic Band charging privileges?

If we did a split stay, onsite first then moving offsite, are charging privileges for the MB only possible during our onsite portion of the trip? This is what I assume, but want to check. TIA!

You are not really charging to your band, you are charging to your room account. Same as before with the Key to the World.

On my last trip, the second we were marked checked out by housekeeping, charging stopped. (I assume housekeeping as they came running as bag services took our bags and we left)

Typically after checkout, every use of the band will be a charge to the CC on file and not batched until a certain dollar amount is spent.

That's strange. They have band readers at the World of Disney at the airport. You can charge back to your room even as you're getting on your plane to go home.

I'll inquire about it, I was never an airline traveler or magical express, maybe that has something to do with it. I'll report back whatever I find out..

We just got back on Monday - our bands worked for charging all day checkout day as they always do. This trip we left the bags with Bell Services, told the front desk we were done with the room and hit the parks until it was time for DME pickup early evening no issues using bands or charging.

Prior Trip October 15 - checked out of BWI, put bags in bell service, hit food & wine festival until fairly late and then took a cab to our offsite hotel, again no issues.
