Any idea how this will work? We have reserved a 2 bedroom at SSP, my brother reserved a studio at SSP. We want my brother to have access to our room but now that there aren't key cards and room keys are the magic bands, how can we give him a "key" to our room without giving him one of our magic bands?

Thanks! I didn't realize they still had key cards. That will work well.

They don't. Card printers and the software to run them were taken out several months ago. You can get an "extra" Magic Band (grey) at the desk with just room key privileges on it.

Please share more about this. I know the old mag strip cards are gone, but Disney has been insisting in all their promotion material that guests can get an RF card instead of a band that runs on the new system if they wish. Reports from resort guests here have been mixed, with some resort CMs insisting you can't get a card, but other people are reporting that they did get a card when they requested one.

Last month at AOA we were given cards for the extra room we needed access to. We had two rooms and my husband had access to one on his MB and I the other so we got cards for each other's rooms.
