You will be able to track the package online, so you will know when it will arrive. I received an email that my magic bands were on their way 30 days before my scheduled arrival date. In that email there was a postal tracking number to click on.

They send you an email when they are shipped so with in about 5 days from the email is usually when they show up. They usually are in a plain packaging.

You can customize them until 30 days prior to your arrival date.
They will not begin the customizing and shipping process until that 30 day mark.
At that point it generally takes 24-48hrs to process and then 3-5 business days for shipping.
Most people receive them about 3 weeks prior to arrival.
