Magic Band and canceled reservation

We have a crazy split stay for our upcoming trip, but the last night is currently at the pop, but now my dad is joining us for this night and park days. However we can’t have 5 in this room, nothing on site is available for the one night that holds five (for under $650). If I cancel this night and move to the double tree what happens to my magic band order that still in process? I’m assuming nothing? But also feel a tiny bit guilty since I already purchased them at the discounted rate.

Ugh I could put him at the double tree only, but then I’m paying for 2 rooms for no reason, when we can all fit at the double tree.

Is Pop your only on site night?

I think technically if the on site stay is cancelled you have to pay full price for the bands.

No, we have a few other nights earlier in the trip but with different bands. I should mention this is in 2 weeks!! I don’t mind paying an up charge for the bands, they haven’t shipped yet, but that’s also stressing me out!

You won't be charged anything extra. I purchased MBs for a trip that was supposed to happen, but I had to cancel on the day I was supposed to leave due to illness. I now have two, lovely MBs that were never used. Just an FYI - MBs aren't tied to your resort stays, they are tied to your MDE profile - you only need one MB for your split stays. Resort stays only allowed you to purchase MBs at a discount.

Thank you! That was the ordinal plan, but they MB+ got added so you know we just had to have those too!

Two reason, one isn’t available, and it would be $195 if I got the same rate, but the one room is $200 at the double tree.
