magic band 2.0

Got the new version when I got my AP band in the mail at the end of December... and it is simply not going to work on my tiny wrists with my fitbit. Does anyone know if MB2.0 can be traded at guest services for the old style? Its just so WIDE! I wish we had the option of old or new style, at least for a while.

I use a fitbit also, but I don't bother at WDW. At that point it's only counting steps for fun, because I know for a fact I walk a LOT more at Disney then a regular day at home. At home I average between 16000 and 18000 steps (except lazy days), WDW is at least that or much more.

Sacrifice the fitbit for the magic band!

I carry a small backpack into the park, but I imagine trying to dig around to get the band for a fastpass would drive me nuts, and I'd have the same issue with the various accessories

Huh. We're all so different. I carry the mb or put it in one pocket of a bag or loop it around the strap half the time and it's no bother to grab it to use.

yes, although it's a little wider on the colored piece now but not longer.

Thanks. Also, the customize page shows pictures of the old bands still. Are the color choices for 2.0 the same?

they should incorporate a step counter into the magic band. Or have a slider or device you can put onto your band. Then those of us who wear fitbits or devices also could just have it all on one band. Or just wear our magic bands everywhere we go and forget the fitbit!!

Nope. You can decline whichever ones you don't want at the same place in MDE where you customize them.

My plan is to get a lanyard or keychain thing so that my MB2.0 can be worn somewhere other than my wrist where I already wear my fitbit.

For our 1/26 arrival we got MB 1.0 in pink, green, and purple. A friend with the same check in date got 2.0 with purple and blue so I'm guessing they are out of old blues, perhaps?

We ordered 2 blues for our check in of 1/28. (Along with 2 purples, 2 pinks, 2 reds and a gray) They shipped on 12/31. We should get them today. I'll let everyone know what we get.

Ours just arrived. We got MB 2.0.

Ahhh the suspense is killing me. We arrive on the 27th as well and were supposed to get our Magicbands by yesterday at the latest, but they are sitting in PA. (I'm assuming snow issues) They have been on a journey (been watching the tracking like a hawk lol). FL, to IL, to PA and hopefully home to us in VA by tomorrow!
