Friday,9/5... Arrived in Fla 11:15pm after leaving Washington DC that night at 9:35pm. It was raining cats and dogs. Got the shuttle to Days Inn on McCoy Ave for the night. Hotel has been renovated, and very clean. OK for night stay, but would not go back to spend a whole day there.
Sat, 9/6...After a good nights sleep, got up and was transported back to the airport for DCL bus. It was still raining extremely hard. Got the bus and arrived at the pier around 130pm. By then the rain had stopped. Check inwas already going great, so no delays what-so-ever. On the bus they give you a folder where they instruct you which forms would be needed at check-in. It was all ready, and only had to hand the folder to the lady at checkin. By the time we had finished lunch, our room was ready. We were in cat. 9, and the porthole is huge. I will post pics of it after I learn how
Got DGS signed up for te lab, which he loved, and DD and I had to kidnap him in order to get quality time with us. Went to the roome and unpacked, then went on deck for sailaway party. This was lots of fun, with dancing and enjoying the caracters on the stage. Sunday to come....
