Magic 11/20/04 Thanksgiving Cruisers?

My counter is in the ZEROS! My plane leaves the great big airport of Beaumont, Texas tomorrow afternoon. I get to fly the East Texas crop duster to Houston. Then on to Orlando. I may be chowing down at The House of Blues tomorrow night!

Did I read that Silver7 told Lampy that the cruise is FREE ALCOHOL beginning Saturday? That must mean she is footing the bill? Why thank you very much. We all appreciate that, Teresa! Mark will appreciate that too!

Lampy--Who, Me?:earseek:

Willie--Uh, NO! I would fill up my onboard credit limit in the first hour of the cruise:p

Mel--Thanks!

Christine--I LOVE Epcot during the Flower and Garden Festival!

As I sit here in NEPA :bored: with my family on Thanksgiving I will be thinking of you all enjoying the holiday on the beautiful Disney Magic. I wish you all most magical, wonderful and memorable cruise:boat: . I hope the :sunny: sun :sunny: is always shining and the pirate: drinks are constantly flowing! :drinking1
I will wait anxiously for reports from the ship and posting of photos.

Be safe and have a fabulous time! You all deserve it! :teeth:

:goodvibes

BON VOYAGE!

Thanks for the well wishes, Melody! You have been such a great help to all of us on this board. Thanks for the website, and for all of the info you have sent our way all year! But mostly thanks for your friendship. Even though it is "E-Friendship"! It is appreciated.
Where have I been? I did not know you and EB are going to "domino"!!! That is great news!
You will make a great mom. Just keep on being a Disney Family! Believe me, nothing is so fun as to see YOUR own child enjoy WDW! You are about to begin the greatest adventure of your life! Parenthood! I really believe being a good parent is the most important thing we can do. Tell EB to send me a cigar.

For those that have not followed this thread all year, Mel was originally going to be the Queen of the Turkey Day Cruise. But events caused her to change her cruise to a different date, which she had to cancel due to a hurricane. She did WDW instead.
She was kind enough to build and maintain the Thanksgiving Cruisers website for all of us.

OK, Regarding the nightly DIS Meet. I guess we can try Diversions first. But if it looks like the smoke is too intense, the backup plan is to head to Cove Cafe or Sessions? Someone said they are NS.

I am heading home soon. One more 1/2 day of work, then..................:sunny:

You guys driving, be careful. Stay between the lines.:moped:

Willie

Thanks Willie

Can't wait till we meet everyone
Besides that, you Miller Lite people are lightweights.
I am going to (have my wife)buy you a real beer, to enlighten you and give you some culture, if that is possible!:p

If we are going to an 80's dance then let's behave like teens, and let our teens tell us to come home! I say we let our hair down and show the kids how to be kids! Maybe a slightly :earseek: perspective! eveyone remember the drinking games we all played? (about 20yrs ago)

I say the first one to spend more on drinks than on excursions - WINS!

:chat: talk to you later and have a safe journey!

THE5J'S signing off and heading down I-75!

Have been spending hours reading these boards just trying to catch up! Did get to spend some time going to the Dollar Store picking up some of the "must pack" lists from these boards..
Some things I still can't find but oh well!
Not packed yet either.. and have to check the DS's bag.. who knows what he decided to pack!

Thanks Willy for the greeting and the good luck! Her team went to the state finals last year and lost but it was cool watching them play at Ravens stadium in Baltimore. They have 2 more games to win to get there again!

Is it too late to get on the Palo Brunch list? We had thought about doing that and it would be cool to do it with a bunch of Disney fanatics! What day were you planning on doing it?
We were going to try to do Palo for dinner also? Is it worth it!

Christine

Finally got one son packed!! Two more males in the house to go!

Is anyone else singing a little song all day, and perhaps doing a little dance?:cool1: :cool1: :fish: :jumping1: :rockband: :thewave:

We're packed. :) See you on the ship.

I'm gonna be knockin' on Lampy's door early one morning. I'm sure he'll want to join me on a run!!

The Countdown is on and only a few more things to cross off the list! The kids have begun to count the hours! Any other fellow Texans leaving on the 9:10 flight out of Houston to Orlando? Can't wait to meet everyone. Have a safe trip. Michele

Kelli and the girls will be on the 8:00 ish continental flight tomorrow.

I will be onthe 4:00 PM

Willie

Hey Doggie,

I won't run with you, but I will do some fast walking! Then I will sit down and count your laps for ya!

Willie

Finalizing last minute things, trying to get on line to get boarding passes 24 hours in advance but it's too early, and just wondering what I forgot to pack! Looking forward to that first cold cocktail on board!

Hoping to meet some of you on the ship! ENJOY YOUR TRAVELS!

Christine

We are leaving today on the 730 flight out of New Orleans. Mostly packed--very tired. I keep waking up at 430--no real reason:bounce:

Hope everyone has a safe trip and we will see you tomorrow!

teresa the foofy drink diva

Our 5 year old DS woke up at 6am today asking if it was Saturday and time for the cruise...I told him 1 more day...He was not a happy camper!! According to his Kindergarten teacher all he kept saying yesterday was "I'm going on a cruise!!" Excitement starts at a young age!!

Have a good flight Teresa!
I know how you feel about getting up early.. up at 5am this morning.. and now off to a meeting that I really don't want to go to.. then haircuts, girlie stuff and finish packing.. watch a HS football game and then into bed! Not enough time in the day!
We need to be at the airport by 5:30 am tomorrow so we are up by 4am.. ugh.. but it's worth it!

I am certain my kids are not getting anything done in school today they are so excited.. Thank god it's the last day for school, they are off all next week so no real work is ever done this day!

Few more hours of work, then vacation time, but my mind is already on it!

He sounds like Lampy.

Christine- RE the Palo Brunch- I am going to try to get it set up when I board. BUT everyone should go there also and verify whether they let me book that many people. I have a list of about 26. Debbie at DCL told me that would be too many, but others have said different. So....... We are aiming for Monday, first sea day at 11:00.
Lampskies is also trying to get it set up thru his "DCL girlfriend".

I just took the girls to the Beaumont Airport. They are flying over early to head to Downtown Disney. I am working half day, then flying out at 2:00 PM. Yep, that onboard Crown and 7 will be nice!

Hi Turkey Cruisers!

I've been checking out your thread because I just booked a cruise for NEXT Turkey Day - 2005 :-)

I read that CC will be decorated on the 2nd visit, but not the first -- I'm wondering about the ship -- will it be decorated for Christmas for this cruise?

Also, flights out of Chicago -- looks scary to me. Can any of you fellow midwesterners let me know how far in advance you had to book flights and if you were able to get a fairly decent fare? Or is that impossible!!??

There are six of us so good fares are most important :-)

Any info will be much appreciated --

And have a GREAT CRUISE!!

Kris

hey sailors....home from a great trip.....hope you all got off the ship in time i heard the was a "security issue" and held up disembarking this morning.....I know i have a "reputation' of being "a little diiferent" but a CM flew with us and told us.....hhhmmmmmmmmmm
