Thanks for the warm welcome, Yall!

I too looked at the airfares, but have decided to wait until Southwest can book. We may be driving, which means the kids would miss a day of school, but for sure my MIL will be flying.

Crsndsny, I am sure you will find a good airfare! Southwest is cool and has a good sense of humor. I flew them a couple of years ago at Christmas to Orlando, and they had Santa Elvis singing to us to help us pass the time!
Keep watching their website. They only book 6 months out, so be on the phone that morning.

We decided to drive in on the 19th, and use our remaining points at OKW for a studio. That way we will not be stressed (I tend to get that way!)and will be well rested on Saturday.

Has anyone thought about the excursions they might take? We are thinking about Stingray City in the Caymans, scuba in Cozumel, and snorkling in Castaway Cay. How about yall?

This has been a big topic of discussion around our house. DD and myself are trying to find time to get scuba certified to dive Cayman or Cozumel. Both are beautiful clear water.
DW wants to parasail ar CC. We all want to hit Paradise Beach at Cozumel, and Cozumel Mini Golf! I have read so many great things about those two spots.

So many choices! DW will have to put together a spead sheet for the week, like she does for WDW trips! That will help organize the Palo and REAS stuff.

There is a chance that if we 'have' to fly in on Friday, that we'll do the same thing and use our points for a DVC studio.

At first I created it in Excel, but I didn't like how it translated to html when I wanted to put it on the net for everyone in our group to see. SO, I found it best to just create it in Frontpage. It was so incredibly useful during the trip because I decreased the size quite a bit and lamenated the schedule to have with us at all times. It was the best thing to have to keep track of everything.

We own at SSR, but I'm not sure where we'll end up staying the night before the cruise. I have so many starwood points to use, but it would be nice to stay DVC so we can make a days use of our APs. Still working on our airfare...

You are truly a kindred spirit when it comes to planning. I did a similar spreadsheet in excel for our WDW trip last Thanksgiving...it was my way of forcing myself to learn the program and that was a great excuse to do something Disney.

It was nice chatting with you the other evening...I'm still working on getting DS's email settings configured so our boys can get in touch. It's been a bit crazy ...our semester started here so DH began teaching today and I started 8 hours of classes and we had a death in the extended family. So, please tell your DS that I haven't forgotten.

It's late in our neck of the woods so I'm turning in for the night!

Just got back from Myrtle Beach tonight and boy was it HOT HOT HOT there! Got some great sun and had tons of fun with my girlfriends!
