Magic 11/20/04 Thanksgiving Cruisers?

I've never been much of an outside decorator.......we usually sail the week after Thanksgiving and it's WAY to nasty to get on a roof. But, this year at the new house I AM going to be Ron Grizwald (Chevy Chase). There are going to be so many lights on the front of our house and on my dock on the lake that planes will be landing on the lake.........LOL DW (Kim) has villages, trees, and ceramic decorations that she can't wait to put at the new house.......looks like that will be the first thing to move.........

Speaking of Christmas decorations.........I talked to my "girlfriend" at DCL today......ya, they called me hehehehe.....and I was told that "the ship will definately be decorated for the holiday (Christmas)" but, "we aren't sure about CC due to the damage from the hurricanes". Just figured I'd let you all know just in case you were waiting 'till Friday to take so pics for x-mas cards from DCL at CC like we usually do..........Ron

Hello ALL!

1-Our neighbor is the plant mgr for the MILLER Botteling Plant that is located 10 miles away- put in your orders

2-Since i believe in MICKEY, i also believe in Christmas, so i am already listening to the radio station that is playing 24 hour Christmas music here in Cincy!, i have also been wearing each of my Disney shirts...I NEED MORE SHIRTS!

Wow, they are down to 6 rooms left. . Not that I am checking (still looking for a way to upgrade )

The inside of the house is what I am decorating, not the outside. . . yet.

Laura made matching shirts for her family--but if you have a lime green shirt, wear it! That way we can spot each other better! (or maybe you DON'T want to wear one )

and I confess. . . I hear the horns about 50 times a day every day. . they are my email alert on my computer But it will be really cool to hear them in person!:thewave:

We just called DVC to upgrade. They are closed for an "Extended training session" till monday.
We called DCL and they said we have to go through DVC

We have been on their "Upgrade List" since we booked. And have checked back often, but to no avail

Teresa-Do you have the "Wish upon a star" for an email alert? How did you get that?

One week from right now we will be in New Orleans waiting for our plane!

Thursday night drive down to south Knoxville
Friday morning: drive to Macon, GA to see Julia's Neice and 12 noon T time(golf) with her husband and my son Jeff.
Friday night-eat, drink and be dreaming of the HORNS.

Saturday Morning drive down to the dock, plan to arrive 12 noon.

UPGRADE
We are bottom dwellers
A family of five is limited to how many people we can put into a room
a problem where ever we travel.
We booked three of us using DVC and two cash
We are on the bottom (stayed there last time, it's OK never in the room till bedtime)with no connecting door.
So do we sleep with DS in our room(to keep an eye on him?
BTW keep your DD's away from him. He acts like his father at 15yrs old. )
Or do we have the three in thier own room?

Either way, i think it will be musical rooms everynight

One week from right now I will be on a flight to Orlando. That just sounds so good!

Gotta get going. Today is Kelli and my 21st anniversary, and we are going out with a group of friends to eat mucho shrimp and "BBQ" crabs.

Willie and Kelli-Happy Anniversary!!

My DH, Chuck and I will be celebrating the 5th Anniversary of our Disney Wedding the day our magical cruise ends. We got married twice--once w/ only immediate family and then a second time, later the same year, with a big celebration for family and friends at the WDW wedding pavillion/Grand Floridian Hotel 11/27/99. Disney and Thanksgiving are very special to us!!

One week from tomorrow and we will all be on the Magic!!

We also celebrated our anniv (15th) this week.

Did some X-mas shopping this evening, and got our kids to get most of their homework done. I'm off to visit my father tomorrow since we won't be home the following weekend.

Wille, It's 10pm here, just had a rather LARGE glass of wine after a hecktic week at home. I'm glad we're in the late dining rotation, I'll be able to drink early afternoon on an empty stomach. With early dining, if I have my beers in the afternoon, I get all tired and lushy by dinner time.

A week from tomorrow at this time, I'll be on deck 4, sitting in the lounge chairs, listening to the waves break through the bow on our way to Castaway Cay...

What are BBQ crabs?

They are the best crabs you have ever had. They are actually not BBQ, but fried in a BBQ tasting batter. We have a little seafood place here called Sartins that is about the only place I have ever had them. It is a platter service that serves fresh Gulf shrimp, BBQ crabs, fresh fried fish, stuffed crab, cold crab claws, stuffed jalpenos, and of course hush puppies, fries, salad, etc. All with an endless supply of Miller Lite long necks! A dozen of our best friends were there, and it was really a nice time.
Got home earlier, and I am still stuffed. I may not eat again til I see those jumbo boiled shrimp! I have been out chilling in the hot tub and feeling weightless!

I had to get online for an important message from a friend, and just wanted to peek on this board. Goodnight all!

Our home resort is Beach Club....we love that place!

We used to have the Hilton Head and Vero Beach about 5 years ago, but had to sell under certain circumstances....had to close our business after 7 years. You talk about how that broke our hearts.

Now, we are doing great and back to being a DVC member again!!


Let's get on that BOAT!!!

PS. Is anyone interested in spliting the cost of wine package? I don't know if we can do that, but my DH loves to drink wine but there are nights I don't feel like drinking wine and I can only drink about half of glass. Don't get me wrong, I love wine but it hits me like a brick but with other drinks like the foofy drinks, I can drink a few of them.
I'm beginning to sound LIKE my DD's. like, like, like......

Happy belated anniversary Willie.........we had our 15th in October!! All that crab and food sounded o.k...........but that unlimited long neck miller lites got my attention!!!! At this time next week we'll be strolling down to the lobby of the BC heading for the ship.............. This is my last saturday working 'till Dec. the next time I hold my Sat. meeting I'm going to be sunburn!!!!!!!!!
