Maggots at a restaurant...Would you return? Update

You can buy them at a fishing bait store. Dh and ds use them as bait all the time. It is so gross!

That is horrible! I am glad that there were arrests made. To deliberately tamper with people's food like that--just disgusting.

When I was a teenager and working at a movie theater we would occasionally do "pranks" but certainly not at that level. The only food related thing I remember us doing was adding LOTS of extra butter to people's popcorn if they were insistent that their popcorn never had enough topping on it. Oh, and once we grew a gummie bear in the lemonade machine (gummi bears get really, REALLY big if you leave them in liquid for a while). Maggots, though? That is disgusting, and cruel.

Over the week I've been in contact with the store manager, franchise manager , corporate headquarters and , oh yes, our local television station. The store wants me to forgive and forget but no way...not when they play with the health of innocent people that way.

I'm not the OP, but I'd want any management and involved associates who were in the store at the time fired, and I'd want the health inspector up their butts so high he'd come out their mouths.

And I'd want a very sincere letter of apology signed by the president or CEO, probably a phone call from them as well so I knew they were actually aware, and the letter wasn't jsut some form that a secreatry signed.

Reminds me of a time I went to a Roy Rogers. I ordered a hamburger. They placed it on the tray, and I unwrapped it to be sure that it was as I had ordered it. I discovered a big hairball on it!!!! I brought this to the attention of the cashier and manager. Both laughed, thinking it was hilarious. Needless to say, I rescinded my order and never returned. A year later, the Roy Rogers went out of business.

That is absolutely disgusting!!!!!!! Those that did this prank should be fired right away and to try and save the restaurant they should be put on TV and told to explain themselves and tell the public what they did and that they are fired and the managers etc. should explain to the public that they can go back to this chain knowing that they will be served "decent" and "safe" food with no maggots!
