I know that this is for WDW weddings but since I dont know where else to turn, does anyone know where you can try on a dress by Maggie. We can drive as far as chicago ( we live in Wisconsin) any ideas- I cant seem to find any info online - sorry- last name is sorrento

I got a Maggie Sottero dress and I did the same thing the pp said. Just go on to the maggie sottero site and search for locations in your area that carry her dresses. I found many stores in my area that carried her dresses. Good luck!

I just love her dresses!! I went on her website, as the others have, and found a boutique close by. Hope you find one thats for you!! I did...VIENNA!!

Yep that is how I found the location to try them on. Her website will give you a list.

Sadly, they didn't have the dresses that I wanted at the store so I got a Maggie Sottero-ish dress...:lmao:

Just wanted to let you know that I bought a Maggie Dress and it took over 9 months for me to get my dress... Just wanted to let you know this that way you order your dress MONTHS before your wedding so you know you get it in time!!!

As a fellow Wisconsinite, I think I can help you.

I've tried Maggie Sottero dresses on at Heim's bridal on 74th and Layton (near southridge - behind the outback) and Eva's in Oak Creek, and both places have been super nice.. If you're looking for Sottero Midgley, the pickings get a bit slimmer.

If you go to the website, there are more locations, but those are the two I've tried and they both have a good selection.

Happy Hunting!

I used the website as well!! A few of the stores said that maggie sottero gives you an option where if there is a dress you REALLY think is the one and you don't have the option to try it on they have a renters fee where they can send it to the store for X amount of dollars and if you do get it it goes towards te cost or if you get another it still goes toward the cost! FYI!

Hi! My daughter just ordered her Maggie dress for her Fall 2009 Disney wedding. :lovestruc It's fabulous! We live in Madison, and she found the one she loved at Vera's, but also found several at Brandi's Bridal in New Glarus. If you have a certain style, call some stores to see if they carry it. Where in WI are you located?

I was told by more than one bridal shop that maggie shipping is slooowwww. I suggest fudging your dates when ordering. I said I was getting married 2 months before our actual date and then the bridal salon I ordered from told the supplier (not maggie) it was a month before that....:goodvibes

Thank you thank you for your replies- we live in the Appleton area. I think the hard part will be finding the exact dress to try on. The wedding is this September- they just moved the date up one year...egads! I will hit the phones tomorrow afternoon while I am off. glad your replies let us know about the long wait.

notjoanna eggs- those two locations you suggested- are they both in the milwuakee area?

Thanks for the info on the rental fee- the store in our area didnt even disclose that- my daughter just started calling and a store up in Green Bay informed her about that.

I had a maggie dress but I'm afraid I'm from the UK so cant really help but I felt so good in my dress. All her dress are so nice

I was told the same thing. After David's Bridal announced to me they couldn't get my dress, I went shopping again and decided on Maggie Sottero but since I only had 3 months left they said that even with rush shipping it would be to tight. They said Maggie Sottero shipping is SUPER slow.

What are the average price ranges for a Maggie dress? After looking at her website i found alot of dresses i liked but i don't wanna get me heart set on one if it going to be way to expensive. I tired looking at retailers for the prices but most didn't have them listed.

I'm not sure what the "average' price is. My daughter's dress is about $1200.00. It seemed the Maggies she tried on were in the ballpark as most of the others she tried. Some were a bit more, some were a bit less. Is there a particular style she wants? Check some on line sellers, they usually have retail prices listed.;)

Yes, they're in the Milwaukee area.

Good luck finding a dress!

As far as average cost goes... My Maggie dress cost about 650, and this was about 2 years ago. The price kind of varies because different bridal stores have different markups. I tried on Maggie dresses at a different store that were all over 1000k. If you find a particular dress style you really love, I would shop around to find the best price on it.

I love Maggie dresses!
I was surprised to find out that they were as reasonably priced as they are! I thought they'd be double what I could get them for. Many, many local places sell Maggies. Do a search on the site and I am sure you will find a place close to you.
I am in NJ, but am planning on trying on some Maggies. I love En Vogue and I am also planning on trying on Nevaya and Capri Lynette. All gorgeous!
