Is this worth it for a 2 adults and 2 kids (7 and 10) or is it just better to order off of the regular menu?

We were just there on Tuesday night with family visiting.

The children's price is half of the adult price.

My kids ate off of the kids menu for $5.95 and it was too much food for them at that price. They took home half of their dish of spaghetti and meatballs. My 2 are girls, ages 9 and 7.

I can't see how a child would get their money's worth out of the family style unless they were hitting a growth spurt.

I also recall the menu saying it required a minimum of 4 adults. We were a large group and this was not an issue, so I don't know how it would play out for your family.

If I were to go next time, I'd just order off of the regular menu myself. We had the classic and it was just way too much. But the good thing is, once you touch the dish--they will let you package it up and take it home.

I took home the bruschetta. YUM! My family kept the rest of the leftovers.

The lite menu might be okay at $21.95 per adult--however...still a lot of food and the dilemma of getting folks to agree on the same dish is tough. (that is 2 salads, 2 apps, and I think 2 pastas plus the lemon cookies for dessert).

FYI--if the adults order al a carte, it becomes almost a better deal to do the family style, cost wise.

My bill for 1 adult, 2 kids (kids menu), my drink and auto-gratuity came to about $52.

Kids meal off the kids menu includes a generous portion of food, drink, and ice cream or lemon cookies for dessert.

It's worth it because they give you a lot, keep bringing it, and then you can take it all home.
