Magazine subscriptions

I just had to renew my Reader's Digest and figured I'd share my secret. For some reason the magazines for sale in Wal-mart consistently have the cheapest subscription rates tucked into their pages on those little postcards.

For example, in addition to $10 for Readers Digest I've also gotten Vogue subscriptions for my SIL's for birthdays for only $10, and Taste of Home gift subscriptions for $10 too. Its funny that when they send me the invite to renew it's always $20+ but I never bite. I just pick up a new postcard and it's $10 again.

Amazon has some great prices and I hope that you ordered Reader's Digest on their website, instead of $10 for the year, it offers $15 for two years.
