Mag. Expr for only 1 in our room? & 2 resorts?

When we go in January, my sons and I are driving down and my mom is flying down and meeting us and she is in our room. She is on my reservation. Is it going to cause a problem to register only her and not all occupants in our room for Magical Express from the airport?

Also, we are spending the first night at ASM (where she will need to be delivered) before moving to Poly (where she will need to be picked up at the end of the trip.) Will this cause confusion either?

Please help if you have experience. I need to get those Magical Express reservations ASAP since it is only a few weeks away. (YEA!!!)

No problem so long as your mom is registered in the room for the night she arrives and registered in the room for the night prior to departure.

It is easy to modify the return ME time and pickup location as needed at the resort, at least a day before the return home date on the ME reservation or the date before checkout, whichever comes first.

Not a problem at all. We have done this twice now.

September, we arrived on a Wed. and rented a car. Daughter arrived on Friday and used DME.

December, we arrived early on Thursday and rented a car, Daughter, hubby and baby arrived in the evening and used DME.

As long as the person's name is on the reservation it's not a problem. They will send you yellow tags for the entire party, so just remind mom to only use the ones with her name on them, so not to confuse the handlers and airlines.

I agree with all of the above. DME is not an "all or nothing" proposition. There's not even a little problem with some people in the same room using DME and some not.
