Maelstrom Fastpass +

My FP+ booking window opened April 2nd but I can't find Maelstrom. It doesn't say it's unavailable, it just doesn't show at all.

I really doubt Maelstrom was booked out for every day of my trip on the first day that people could book it. In fact, the frozen fast pass is the only attraction that is unavailable and it at least still shows up, just grayed out.

I don't get it. Is the ride going down for maintenance?

Im sorry it does not show up for you. In my experience with this ride I don't think you will need it regardless. I would use the fastpass for something else.

Have you already chosen test track or soarin because the fp are tierd so mde won't show maelstrom or any other attractions in group 1 if you have already chosen a ride from that group.

I'm having the same issue for my trip from July 3-6. Maelstrom doesn't show up as a choice on any day.

(And yes, I know the situations with the lines on that ride, but I'm a World Showcase geek, so I want to be able to schedule a quick ride, especially during July 4 weekend!)

Same here. It doesn't show up my entire trip July 1-15.

Now that Maelstrom is closed, will Disney be added a new fastpass (from World Showcase) to the list of available fastpass attractions on offer - otherwise all Epcots FP+ are is Future World?

I doubt it. The only other attraction in the WS is the 3 Caballeros and it certainly doesn't require a FP+. All FP+ selections are in Future World.
