"Made with Magic" ears/wand/totem pole - ?s

Worth it? Is it just a gimmicky, newbie buy?

Will they work/light/coordinate with:

1. Fireworks @ MVMCP?
2. Dessert party @ MVMCP?

Right now we have RoL, Illuminations, Fireworks Dessert @ MVMCP, and Fantasmic slotted for our trip.

How much are these accessories? And is there enough participation in the crowd for it to be pretty cool?

They have been more fizzle than sizzle since they have been available.
They are considered by many to be too expensive for what they are,
and (in the case of nearly all devices but the "wand") the person actually using the device cannot see
it when it is in operation.

Add to that many other guests who are not "in" on the concept
actually dislike (and sometimes complain to the user) the fact that
the devices can be distractive to the views of the shows.

I consider them to be a cool idea, but they have pretty much missed
the mark in actual guest involvement.

my daughter has the ears and complained that they were too heavy (I guess where the battery is), I even tried wearing it one day and it got annoying after a while.

Fizzle. And it pains me to say that.
I want them to be a hit but they are not.
Too few use them for them to be effective
