made some communication pages for WDW

Thanks Sue;
Although we do not use assistive comm., I was wanting to make "touring plan" for DS5 for each day. As he doesn't read, I needed pictures, but I thought that making the picture schedule would help him through the day (d/t ASD and OCD transitions are, shall we say, difficult?) :rotfl2:
Just thought I'd let you know that your work has helped more than you might initially realize.
Thanks Again
Nicole

I understand totally. Besides CP, my DD also has ADD and OCD.
Glad someone else may find them useful.

Something I forgot to mention is that the arrangement of the rides/attractions might look random, but they are arranged according to the area they are in. Within that section, they are arranged the way the park maps list them.

I had not looked at the actual pages on this for a while.
After doing the generic Disney pages, I had actually redone the pages on DD's device that use the Disney pictures. I added some of the extra words and thought I had done a new jpg to show that, but I guess I didn't post them.
Her new pages on her device are kind of a combination of the generic ones and the ones with Disney pictures.

New pictures added. These are screen shots from my DD's new communication device, an iPod touch with a communication app (little program) called Proloquo2go. MK part 1:

I have some also for the Studio and AK, but too tired, so will post tomorrow.

This is the Studio category, part one for my DD's iPod using Proloquo2Go:

The individual buttons are not arranged in the order I want them to be, but right now (early Aug 2009), that feature is not working correctly in Proloquo2Go (the developers say it should be fixed soon).
You can have as many buttons as you want; if there are more buttons than fit in one screen, the user scrolls down to get to the next buttons. On some pictures, you can notice the top one or two rows are the same as the last one or 2 rows of the page before - that's because the program only scrolls down as far as the buttons are filled in.

image.png Thought I should update this with the 2016 version of my daughter's Disney pages on her current communication device - an iPad using a communication app called Proloquo2Go.
This is the Main WDW page

Wow, thank you. I adapted your previous pages to a simple choice board for each park and activity strip. I use laminated magnet squares for the room fridge. We have moved from Proloque to a Dynavox, but it can be duplicated on an iPad for travel. :thanks:

This is a general restaurant page on my daughter's Food folder, not specific to WDW

These are GREAT, thanks for posting! Now to just get my daughter more motiviated to use her communication device (Tobii eye gaze attached to a windows tablet, running Communicator 6, at least I think that's what it's called!)

Thse pages look great! my son uses Proloquo. It looks similar. We used a verymodified, simple version right now because he get soverwhelemd easily. This makes me want to ramp up his system!! It's so exciting!
