Late PAT but using DCL Bus - What happens?

TRying to decide what to do. If we stayed at WDW the night before...

1. does disney provide transportation from MCO to the WDW? How much $
2. does disney provide transportation from WDW to the cruise terminal? How much $
3. Whats the best DVC resort to stay in?

1. No they don't. But there are lots of options: shared shuttles, private transfers, rideshares.
2. Yes. DCL offers transportation from onsite WDW resorts for $45/person. If you want transportation from the port back to the airport after your cruise, it's another $45/person.

I added the transportation after I checked in and got my PAT. Just checked again and the PAT has disappeared, but it was 2:15pm

You will be automatically assigned the earliest possible PAT when using DCL ground transportation.

1. No, Disney no longer does. The closest thing is a service called Mears Connect, it's $17 per person, per direction.
2. Yes, you book this through Disney Cruise Line. $45 per person, per direction.
3. Depends on what you want to do. If you're not buying a park ticket, then Animal Kingdom has a lot of things to do and Saratoga Spring or Old Key West are close to Disney Springs. If you have park tickets, I like staying close to the parks I'll be visiting.

It's been a hot minute since we've done a DCL; I know the PAT is assigned when you check-in online. Is that also when your BG is assigned? And is it better to take DCL transportation from a WDW resort vs MCO? We're a party of 6 adults and will have a rigid wheelchair so we were thinking it might be better to add DCL transportation rather than booking a private option.
