Made ressies at Kona for daughter and I

I just made ressies for the Kona Cafe for my 8 year old daughter and I. My dad (lives in Orlando) surprised all the guys in the family w/ baseball tickets which left the girls with a day to ourselves. We have never eaten there, did I make a good choice? There isn't much open for us on that day since it's so late (3/1). Trails End was also open. Is that where they make everything funny w/ the ketchup and stuff? I normally would have done the tea at GF but I just found out yesterday about the baseball tickets. We aren't going to the parks that day so no in park dining for us. Just looking for an opinion. My daughter and I aren't picky eaters.

I haven't eaten there for lunch or dinner, but it is one of the best breakfasts in all of WDW.

We really like Kona. We eat there every trip. It is one of the easier resort restaurants reach as well. You can get there from MK via boat or monorail or walk from TTC. Whispering Canyon in the Wilderness Lodge is the "we need ketchup" restaurant. It was fun, but the food was nothing special.

We did lunch there a few months back. My favorite meal so far at WDW. Everything we got there was amazing.

My kids love it there for all meals. We have done them all and they have always left happy. If your daughter seems to be unable to find something she will eat (okay, sometimes it happens), just tell your server. I am sure all will be handled to your satisfaction!!!!

We have eaten there for Breakfast and Dinner - it is really nice and has a good menu.

Very good choice! I have never had a bad meal there and the service has always been really good too. The bread and butter at dinner is amazing !!

Kona, definitely one of the best restaurants at WDW, you won't be disappointed.
