I'll just go to Disney for the day, not staying at the resort. I'm trying to keep my ecpenses reined in.
About the smog: I'm asthmatic and kind of sensitive to these things. So far, though, I haven't had any trouble.
Starting to fade a bit. I plan to go to bed by 9:00 (6:00 a.m. LA time. Yikes). That's in about 90 minutes.
Just a little vacation. Wanted to see the city and visit DLWhat is the purpose of your trip? Vacation? Work? Combo?
I'm really glad to hear this..! Are you headed to Beijing as well by any chance...? My husband and I are asthmatic as well (him moreso than I) so its good to know you're doing alright!![]()
Hahahaha!! Keep dreaming! (But I hope it clears for at least a day or two while OP is there!) I remember a March in Beijing where every night my white socks would have black (not gray- BLACK) bottoms when I removed my shoes. It was as disturbing as it sounds seeing that. Thankfully Shanghai is by the sea so maybe ocean breeze helps with the smog this month there?I hope that's fog and not smog.
I think because wonkakid (aka Rob) is a regular poster on the Disneyland board and he won’t be posting about it for a while since he is in Shanghai, he’s sharing his adventures with everyoneThis is all really interesting, but why is it on the Disneyland board?
A few pics from today.
..Okay I'll bite. What are they doing with the cabbages...? It doesn't look like a grocery store?
I would eat all of those desserts in a heartbeat! So pretty!
Incidentally, a guy I met in my hostel last night is also a big Disney park-goer. He's been to all of the parks and had just come in from Shanghai DL that evening. He gave me a map and tons of great tips. Very helpful for when I go next Weds.
