Earlier I was watching this show called Marketplace on CBC News (They usually go in depth with what we're buying, mostly about things that are scams) and they were discussing how on the packages it would say 'Made in Canada', but the only thing that was actually from Canada was the packaging.
I assume that many companies in the States do this, they write on the label that it was made in the US, but it was only processed. They claim that the food is from the US, but in reality the fish, the fruit, whatever that's in it, is really from Asia and other places.
So what are your thoughts on this? Should they change the labeling to 'Processed in ____' instead of claiming that the foreign ingredients are from the country you bought it in? Do you think we should be buying locally grown food?
