We are going to the MVMCP on 11/13 and having dinner at the Liberty Tavern. We have never eaten there. How is the food?

We are also going to Coral Reef on 11/12. I am not big on seafood. I was thinking of ordering the steak.

We are going w/o dd's. Taking in-laws who have never been. We are trying to go places that we didn't go with kids. My MIL is weird....she doesn't like to make ressies for anything. She doesn't understand why I have to make them for dinner. She asked why we can't just show up. Liberty Tavern we are eating at 4:20.....it is already booked. (must be good) We have the DDP. This is the first time for that also. Normally, when we go to the parks we worry about $$ and don't eat much. This trip is all about us and enjoying ourselves.

Liberty Tree is a good character dinner (served family style)...classic characters in colonial type dress. The food is good for an "all you can eat." Personal opinion is that the buffets and all you can eats don't compare to the food you get at a restaurant where the meals are served off a menu.

So...if you want a character dinner, Liberty tree is good.

Coral Reef was great in May. DD ordered steak, I had salmon. Totally wonderful. We has a "tankside" table and a great time!

Since you are on the DDP, try LeCellier and Les Chefs de France too! Great values for the $, and Les Chefs is rumored to be not on the DDP next year. The only downside is that Coral Reef and the 2 above can be quite crowded (probably due to the DDP). And, yes, you do need ADRs for all dinners.
