Made ADR's today. NO CRT for our entire trip! Nothing! Wow-**Update:I got the ressie!

I was online at 6am this am-this is my 180th day--nothing for CRT for our entire trip (6days)--breakfast, lunch or dinner. Now we are a party of 11 and I know this is a smaller restaurant but I was surprised there wasn't a single time for 6 solid days. I even called at 7am and the CM was very nice and checked the entire week--nothing either. She said it has been brutal this week getting ADR's for people. I guess b/c it is falling into Labor Day weekend/week. I did get most everything else we wanted and the times--except Le Cellier. But we are ok with that.

We are doing 1900 Park Fare and Akershus--so we will get to see the princesses--we just wanted our girls to be inside the castle. I don't even know if it would help for me to check periodically to see if something opens up given we are a party of 11--and we would all need to go, not splitting it up.

Anyway, I just thought that was something. Nothing for the entire week. Wow.

Maybe a couple of small parties will drop out and you can get in.

CRT is one and I am worried about, but I put in for a Saturday in July (which is 2 months before we are going) and could still get in, so I am hoping that late September will be achievable if I am on first thing when my adr's open....

Don't be worried. I got everything else (except LC) at the exact times I wanted--and we are a large party! I think it is just CRT being smaller and us being a larger party.
Don't worry. You really should get what you want--I had a total of 11 ADR's and only 2 that I didn't get--I am actually pretty happy with it all.
I was just surprised about CRT for the week!

There is one group of tables in CRT that I could see easily sitting 11 if they pushed them together. I'd try for smaller groups at the same time or within 15mins of each other and explain what you'd like to do when you arrive at CRT. Which I'd actually go up there about an hour before your time so that they could possibly figure out seating before your round of seating starts.

I recommend this also. I also tried to book CRT at my 180 days out at 6 am and found no availability the whole week for a party of 7. Then tried parties of 4 and 3 - no problem, had my choice of days!

Maybe I'm wrong, but in all my ADR bookings it seems like some restaurants have a maximum party size (unpublished as far as I can see) and force you to break larger groups up into multiple ADR's while others do not. Yak and Yeti was another that I had to split.

You guys ROCK! You were soo soo right! I got a party of 6 at 415pm and a party of 5 at 420pm--within 5 min of each reservation!!! Now the system won't kick out one of the reservations will it?? I sure hope not!

I called the dining line and spoke with a CM. He said they are NOT allowed to cancel an ADR--and that they system does not automatically cancel anything--that it has to be done by a human. Also, he said he cannot put one reservation in my husbands name, that he cannot modify it--currently they are both in my name. He said it will be fine. He said with CRT--they take that ADR very seriously and that it will not be touched.
Do you guys think this is accurate information? I know there are so many differing opinions out there. I told him I just didn't want it to look like i had double booked CRT--he said no, it won't, not to worry about that, that they are fine.

You will be fine because CRT requires a credit card pre-payment or guarantee.
I'm glad you got a ressie! You had me worried there, since I'm trying soon for my ADRs and even though neither DH nor I are particularly psyched about CRT, with a 3-year old princess, we can't skip it anymore.

Like a previous poster, I too had trouble with Yak and Yeti--the CM told me I had to actually call them to reserve for a large group. But I went online and did the 5/6 table thing and I think I will call them too.

Obviously, CRT does the same thing where a large party can't book there or there are limited # of spots for a large party. We are OK if we have to sit at seperate tables but I am going to ask if they can at least try to get us close to each other.

I am just glad to have the ADR! Thanks for all the input on this thread--this site is just a wealth of info!

I would think with the climbing price of airfare you will see a lot of people NOT going this summer and things will pop up as reservations are cancelled.

Our 180 was today, of course everyone had to work & forgot until late evening. We are a party of 6. I checked online & found 2 CRT breakfast for our week & called to reserve them. Will cancel one of those as soon as I get with dd to decide which one to keep. Also got Askerhaus Princess bkfst on the day we wanted too.

Yeah, no problem getting CRT dinner for 4 today. My DD will be happy.

I made reservations at CRT this morning for our trip on August 28th. I was thrilled and a little surprised they still had something available.
