Madame Leotas Ring Missing from HM at WDW

Hello,
We were at WDW this weekend and we discovered that Madame Leotas ring which was embedding in the concrete of the queue is missing. We asked a cast member and they told us it was out for polishing. Interesting!

I've seen other reports of it being missing, sadly i think out for polishing means gone for good.

Its been gone for a while now. At least 4 or 5 years. At least since the interactive que line was added.

Actually it was there this past March. I took the Marceline to Magic Kingdom tour in March and they showed it to us. It was next to a garbage can in the new que line right next to the guy who sneezes water out. I had no clue it was there before I took that tour.

The original ring was a cut off pipe. Imagineers embedded a real ring in the new queue. It was there in May. Now it's gone. It was located at the second 180 degree turn in the graveyard portion of the queue

It's the brides ring. Not Madame Leotas.

Hmmm, learned something new...I didn't know they put one into the new queue. the old one has been gone for quite a while now.

Honestly though - the original version that was just a cut off piece of pipe, but then had a legend woven around it - was cool. The fact that they would actually embed a ring is less interesting of an idea to me.

It IS more interesting in my opinion, but I still think it's cool that they took a fan started rumor and made it official.
