Yeah, me too. Don't want to post too many details about it, I try to be somewhat cryptic about personal things occasionally, just HAD to blow off some steam. This person has gotten on my last NERVE anyway and this last issue has the power to negatively affect someone who I love very much.

I'm just going to keep muttering to myself "simple misunderstanding, simple misunderstanding" for the rest of the day, at least until I find out what's going on.

You're right! I'm pretty steamed too. My phone rang at 7:00 this morning. It was a relative, sobbing hysterically, begging to borrow $5,000. Now normally, I'd laugh and hang up, but this relative has a bit of a back story. Last year she was up to her eyeballs in debt and about to lose her house, etc. Her solution was to drive to a hotel and try to overdose on booze and pills - on her daughter's birthday. So I can't really say no anymore. So I'll take a seat right beside you on the mad bench.

Ah well...unfortunately? there was no misunderstanding. I am going into a meeting tomorrow, I scheduled it this afternoon immediately after I found out what the deal was. I am actually going as mere back-up, the other (affected) person is handling the discussion, but yeah, this is the hill I am choosing to metaphorically die on.
