Anyone else a mad outlet shopper? Bryan and I hit the outlets in Gulfport this weekend, and here's some snippets of our conversations:
At Bass:
DH: Why do you need another pair of brown shoes?
Me: They're half price!
DH: But why do you NEED them?
Me: Uh, my other brown shoes are closed toe. And my other brown sandals hurt my feet. And they're flat. These have heels. I like this pair, too.
DH: No, you can only have one pair.
DH: I think the shirt is $17.
Me: $17 for a T-shirt??
Honey, did you even check the clearance rack?
At Van Husen:
DH: God, those are some ugly pants.
Me: But they're 70% off! That's like $5.
DH: Don't you already have shirt like that?
Me: These are softer, feel. Plus, I don't have this color. Or this one. Or this one...
It actually wasn't my best trip -- we ended up with 2 tops for me, a pair of shoes, four pairs of socks and the slacks. And two T-shirts for him.
