Who's done mad hatter tea party at Grand Floridian? How was it? Worth the money?
Thanks :earsboy:

Hi there! My kids, DD5 and DS3 went to this in January. It is in 1900 Park Fare and a table is set up in true party style, with decorate your own cupcakes. My DD was nervous about being left alone with her brother as no adults can stay, you are given a pager. Sure enough, I got a page about 30 minutes from the end, she just wasn't comfortable in a new setting without mom or dad. They had a photo taken with the Mad Hatter and Alice and it sounds like some of the games and activities were fun, but her nerves got the better of her. If you have a confident child, they will be fine, and it really did look like it would be fun. I felt fine leaving my kids with the staff who seemed competent and friendly.

We REALLY need a Mad Hatter party for adults!

It was really cute. I think with tax I paid $30.12. She had fun decorating her cupcake and all.

Is it only on certain day and times?

My 4 year-old DD LOVED it! So much so that I've booked it again for our trip next June! It's held Mondays through Fridays at 1:30pm.

DD went to this for her 8th b-day. I think it's well worth the money for a little girl who loves tea parties or any child who likes Alice/Mad Hatter and isn't afraid to go without mom. Much better option than the $200 tea party for those who can't afford it.

I never knew they had this. My DD has become an Alice in Wonderland nut. She would so love it sine you don't see much of Alice.

My DD just did this last month and loved it!!! They were able to decorate and eat their cupcakes first and then they had sandwiches and chicken fingers with "tea" (apple juice). They were given a bowl of grapes which ended up being for throwing at the Mad Hatter. They had their pics done with Alice and the Mad Hatter and had them autographed and put in a nice card. THey also came out with a "surprise" for Mom at the end! You are allowed to go in at the beginning and take pics of the room and table and again at the end. They give you a beeper and a "claim check" to retrieve your child at the end. It was well worth the $$. :flower:

DD went to the tea party when she was 4 and 5. She loved it.
